Erik Dysthe, Director

Mr. Dysthe was formerly President, CEO and Chairman of the Board for MDSI Mobile Data Solutions, Inc. and recently retired from that position. Mr. Dysthe’s experience in wireless workforce management dates back to the 1980s when he was the senior executive in charge of European sales for MDI Mobile Data International, a predecessor company to MDSI. In 1993, Mr. Dysthe negotiated the purchase from Motorola of the wireless workforce management technology that established MDSI. He served as President from 1993 to 1996, and Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 1998, and then stepped back into the CEO position in March 2001. Mr. Dysthe served as MDSI’s Chairman since its inception. Prior to founding MDSI, Mr. Dysthe was also Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Orcatron Systems and enjoyed a successful twenty-five year career in sales and marketing in the petrochemical business.

Mark Joseph, Director

Mr. Joseph is currently the President and CEO of Yellow Transportation/Connex North Holding Company Inc., the largest passenger ground transportation company in the Baltimore-Washington region and a subsidiary of Veolia Environment SA. Mr. Joseph's experience in the transportation industry dates back to the 1970s when he held various management positions with Yellow Cab Company, Baltimore. In addition to his achievements in providing cutting-edge transportation solutions, Mr. Joseph has a track record in public service that includes serving on the Maryland Economic Development Commission Board (2000), Maryland Tourism Development Board of the Department of Business and Economic Development (1999), Access Spectrum Management ($100 million - wireless business) Board (1998-1999), The Industrial Telecommunications Association (1998-1999), and was President of Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association (1997).


Vari Ghai, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman

Mr. Ghai has been actively involved in the wireless mobile data industry for over 20 years and is the founder of the Company. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Ghai held a number of positions at Mobile Data International Inc. (now Motorola Inc.) starting in 1985 as President, Taxi Division. From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Ghai held the positions of Business Manager for Application Products and Director of Marketing at Motorola Inc. for the transportation industry. Mr. Ghai was Vice-President of Engineering (Mobile Data Division) for Glenayre Electronics Ltd. from 1989 to 1991. From 1978 to 1985, Mr. Ghai was employed by Datap Systems (a software engineering company) of Calgary, Canada, where he held several positions, including Senior Project Manager. Mr. Ghai has an Electrical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India, and is a registered Professional Engineer.


Daniel Daviau, Director

Daniel Daviau is a Principal at Genuity Capital Markets in Toronto, Ontario. Previously Mr. Daviau was with CIBC World Markets from 1992 to 2004 acting as Head of CIBC World Markets’ Technology Investment Banking Group in Canada (1999-2001) as well as the co-head of their Investment Banking (2001-2004). Prior to 1992, Mr. Daviau was a lawyer with Goodmans LLP. Mr. Daviau brings to the Board a wide range of experience in financial transactions including equity offerings as well as mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Daviau’s equity offering experience includes both public and private financing transactions. Many of these transactions involved some of Canada's leading technology, media and telecom companies. Mr. Daviau holds an MBA from York University, an LL.B from Osgoode Hall/York University and a B.A. (Math and Statistics) from the University of Western Ontario.


Sal Visca, Director

Sal Visca is currently the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Business Objects SA. Prior to joining Business Objects, Mr. Visca was the CTO of Infowave Software Inc. Previously, Mr. Visca worked for IBM as Senior Manager for e-business solutions. Mr. Visca has a proven track record for developing product and technology roadmaps, understanding emerging markets and technologies, conceiving, designing, testing and bringing to market new customer-oriented products and solutions. Mr. Visca has over nineteen years of intensive software development experience as well as developing long-term technical strategies.
